practice the art of moving meditation

In order to control our lives, we must learn to control the mind. In order to control the mind, we must learn to control the breath. Learn how to control your breath in various ways and see how moving mediation practice impacts all aspects of your life.

Practicing moving meditation consistently can help us relax into a seated or laying down form of mediation. In addition to yoga, I am well versed in many different mediation styles and would be happy to teach any styles you are most interested in.

Yoga is a deeply personal process and each practice needs to reflect your unique goals. I enjoy crafting sequences customized for you. If you have a certain problem or injury, I am trained to guide you step by step, breath by breath, and help you overcome any obstacle to achieve your specific goals. I like to offer quotes and mindful guidance that reflect yoga philosophy so you can integrate your work on the mat into your daily life. Each class I teach, no matter how active or passive you need it to be, will be centered around the breath, so every flow becomes moving meditation.

Yin/Yang

Yin Yang is a virtual holistic health program that includes weekly goup fitness and yoga classes, both powerful and restorative in nature, plus biweekly nutrition coaching and meditation sessions.

The principle of yin and yang is that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites. The two opposites of yin and yang attract and complement each other. Each side has, at its core, an element of the other. When a correct balance between the two occurs, harmony is achieved.
